WesTech's History
WesTech's History
In 1972, the United States Congress passed the Clean Water Act. This legislation declared war on pollution in United States waterways and opened up a new era in environmental stewardship the world over. That same year, a group of engineers founded a company they named World Environmental Services and Technology. That company today is known worldwide as WesTech Engineering, Inc.
WesTech soon gained a solid reputation for supplying quality wastewater treatment and process equipment. Clarifiers and clarifier drive units built by WesTech established a benchmark for value and solid construction. These were accompanied by an expanding list of quality equipment designs. Plant owners and operators soon recognized that the WesTech equipment in their plants was process efficient, easy to assemble for the installing contractor, built to last for the owner, and backed by attentive service. This is still true today and remains the best reason for you to use WesTech process equipment in your plant.
