Industrial Unit Proposal Coordinator in our Salt Lake City, Utah office

Position Summary:
Assisting Sales Managers with correspondence with customers, estimators, applications engineers, and sales agents.

Essential Job Functions:
Working with RFQ's, proposal database, sales agents, estimators, regional sales managers, producing database reports, tracking activity and timeliness in proposal database.  Distribute reports.  Develop a system for tracking projects, revisions on inquiries and capture rate by market/product.  Update proposal database.  Develop a systems for Navision, for installation lists.  Work with other groups/units within WesTech.  Reconcile industry, process and application choices in database vs accounting data base.  Manage emails.  Update agent list.  Coordinate bid schedules and progress with estimators, ensuring deadlines are met.  Communicate lost proposals to appropriate personnel.  Other duties as assigned or requested. 

Skills, talents, and education required:
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Statistics, Computer Science Programming, Engineering or equivalent proof of work experience. 
*Proficient computer skills in word, excel, access, power point, windows and basic programming.
*Excellent clerical and typing skills, minimum of 70 wpm typing.
*Assertive with the ability to work with a team and rally support.
*Organizational skills and ability to assist sales managers achieve success.
*Multi-task abilities, ability to meet strict deadlines.
*Detail oriented, accuracy in work.
*Excellent phone manner and skills.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
*Ability to accept flexible schedules on short notice, including limited and infrequent overtime.
*Ability to take on and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
*Self-motivated with thorough follow-through.
