WesTech Engineering is pleased to announce a license agreement with ROMAG AG of Düdingen Switzerland. ROMAG is the industry leader in Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) solutions. These patented technologies are greatly needed in communities where excessive rain events cause the sewer system to be overwhelmed with too much water at one time. The result is untreated wastewater being released into adjacent rivers and streams that would otherwise be receiving only treated wastewater. If effluent permits are exceeded in these instances, this can result in hefty fines from the EPA against the WWTP.

WesTech will be responsible for sales and service for all ROMAG products both in the United States and all of North America. Currently there are more than 900 installations in operation in the US, Europe and around the world. These are many varied designs including screening mechanisms which offer the advantage of being retrofit into existing catch basins with no additional infrastructure requirements.

Experience in the proper selection and application of CSO technologies is key to the success of the installation.
